If you are an immigrant and find yourself being exploited, we’re here to help. Immigrants are common targets for exploitation, be it by dishonest landlords, employers, “notarios” or attorneys who often prey on immigrants’ fears. And their costly scams can cause problems for years to come. Frequent changes in immigration laws and policies have created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty. Catholic Charities Community Services’ qualified staff works to prevent this exploitation and explain one’s rights under the law.
