Since 1949, Catholic Charities Community Services has been the primary direct service provider of The Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. Our programs form an integrated, holistic safety net to assist people in achieving long-term stability across Manhattan, the Bronx, Westchester, and Putnam Counties.

Our work is broadly categorized to achieve the following:

  • Strengthening  Families & Resolving Crises;

  • Feeding the Hungry and Sheltering the Homeless;

  • Welcoming and Integrating Immigrants and Refugees;

  • Protecting and Nurturing Children and Youth;

We don't turn any New Yorkers away

We provide high quality, compassionate services to vulnerable New Yorkers including children and youth, homeless families, food-insecure households, physically and emotionally challenged youth and adults, and immigrants and refugees.
