The road to recovery 

Our professional staff answers questions about recovery. They help navigate the complicated maze of insurance, FEMA assistance and loans. They help plan how to address long-term needs. They connect people to community resources. They determine what financial assistance may still be available. And they advocate with service providers. When New Yorkers have been hit with tragedy and disaster, CCCS has responded with professionalism and compassion to our neighbors in need. 

Our Disaster Case Management Teams are only activated during certain large disasters. Smaller disasters such as a fire in one’s home or other localized disaster are handled through our regular Basic Needs programs. In both cases, professionals support individuals through such crises and problems as job loss, eldercare, bereavement and relocation. To learn more about this service, please reach out.
